Instant Pot Mac and Dreamy Cheese
This quick and delicious instant pot mac and cheese will have your kids asking for more. The level of creamy cheese paired with perfectly cooked pasta is a great easy dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 Box Elbow or Shell Pasta
- 4 Cups Water
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 Package Shredded Cheddar Cheese, about 2 cups
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
Instructions
- In the instant pot, pour in the box of pasta and add in the water, butter and salt.
- Set the instant pot to 4 minutes to cook, then manually release pressure(quick release).
- Remove the lid carefully, and add in slowly the cream and the whole package of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Switch the instant pot to a sautee function and cook for about 1 minute or until the sauce becomes thicker.
Equipment
- 1 Instant Pot
Notes
Substitutes: evaporated milk or whole milk.
Adding any type of cheese would work, you need 2 cups of cheese for the recipe.
