Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 Persian or English cucumber
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Cup White wine vinegar
  • 4 Sprigs Fresh Dill
  • 2 Garlic smashed
  • 1 Tbs. Kosher salt
  • 1 Tsp. Black peppercorns

Instructions

  • Add the liquids and seasonings to the jar:
Pour 1 cup of vinegar and 1 cup of water into a clean jar. Add the salt, garlic, dill, and peppercorns into the jar and stir to combine.
  • Add the cucumbers:
Slice the cucumbers into rounds (about 1/4 inch thick) and pack them into the jar, ensuring they're covered with the brine.
  • Seal and chill:
Close the jar tightly and place it in the fridge. Let it sit for at least 12-24 hours to develop flavor. The longer it sits, the better the flavor! The pickles will become more tangy and flavorful as they marinate.

Equipment

  • 1 Small Mason Jar
